About Us
At Aurora Recovery Occupational Therapy, we help adults reclaim their lives when stress, anxiety, and physical dysfunction begin to interfere with everyday living. Many of our patients report that they do everything they have been advised to do while under medical care. They take medication and participate in therapy, yet continue to struggle with daily functions such as sleep, pain management, stress regulation, and overall comfort in daily routines. At Aurora Recovery, we exist to close that gap. We turn medical treatment into real-life function when the nervous system is the limiting factor.
The Bridge Between Medical Care and Real Life
Modern medicine is highly effective at diagnosing conditions and treating symptoms. Psychiatry stabilizes mood. Physicians manage disease. Specialists address specific body systems. What is often missing is support for how those conditions affect daily life: how a person sleeps, moves, works, cares for their body, manages pain, and tolerates everyday demands. At Aurora Recovery, we specialize in restoring that connection. Our therapy bridges biomedical treatment and real-world function.

What Makes Aurora Different
We do not just chase symptoms
At Aurora, we look at how nervous system overload, pain sensitivity, poor regulation, and body stress may be affecting recovery. When the body stays stuck in stress and dysfunction, pain can feel worse, sleep gets harder, and healing slows down. Our approach is designed to help the body settle, restore balance, and recover in a more meaningful way.
